FXL8.

The FXL8 was designed specifically for Junior Dragsters. This very neat, compact design gave rise to the FXL9 and then the FXL22 and MPE loggers.

Recording time is 23.60 seconds with 1.60 seconds kept from before the Time Zero.

It had 2 rpms:

• Engine rpm from the tacho terminal of an MSD or the kill switch of a standard Briggs and Stratton ignition.
• Jack shaft or drive shaft rpm from a sensor and collar with up to 4 magnets.

There was no capability to monitor input shaft or wheel speed. The FXL9 and then FXL22 were designed to monitor those functions.
