All the MPE loggers were made by FXL DATA Pty Ltd from 2000 until May 2005, when I refused to sell them any more!
All the MPE loggers up to that point were FXL22 loggers in a different box.
The main difference is in the downloading cable. All FXL loggers work with a standard null modem cable (which has pins 2 and 3 reversed.) The MPE loggers use a null modem cable without pins 2 and 3 being reversed.
The software used to download from an FXL22 will work with the MPE loggers, if the correct downloading cable is used.
The MPE loggers can be returned to FXL for any repairs (costs apply) but all MPE sensors were either made by MPE or bought in by MPE. All sensor problems and wiring problems must be returned to MPE only.
I will only do repairs to the printed circuit boards.
